Mais um 'paaaaaaaa' bacanudo hoje. Existe um centro de arte contemporânea aqui no Brasil como o Storm King dos USA que eu quero muito visitar. Paaaaaaa que bacana! Pena mesmo é saber só agora. É o Inhotim. Fica na cidade de Brumadinho no Vale do Paraopeba, 65Km de Belo Horizonte. Paaaaaaaaa, próximo feriado! Que coisa boa.
Essa última obra aí é do Mathew Barney. Paaaaa, gosto dele - ele é o cara dos Cremasters, dos Drawing Retraints. Esse projeto do Inhotim tem uma puts história bacanuda com o músico Arto Lindsay em 2004 em Salvador e tal. Paaaa. Ah, e o Mathew é o homi bonitão da Bjorka também. Upa, hehe! Lembra quando ela apareceu aqui pela Bahia em 2004, pois então. Casal simpático.

Abajo, abajo, algumas imagens da adaptação do Robert Crumb do 1o livro da Bíblia, o Gênesis. Lançamento em outubro nos USA e aqui no Brasil pela editora Conrad, que anunciou que rola ainda para esse ano. Interesting. Very interesting.
E logo abajo um pedacinho de uma entrevista do Crumb com o Robert Hughes, crítico de arte da Time, em 2005, quando Crumb começou o projeto:
HUGHES: Is God going to look like Mr. Natural?
CRUMB: Nah. He has a white beard but he actually ended up looking more like my father. He has a very masculine face like my father. My problem was, how am I going to draw God? Should I just draw him as a light in the sky that has dialogue balloons coming out from it? Then I had this dream. God came to me in this dream, only for a split second, but I saw very clearly what he looked like. And I thought, ok, there it is, I've got God.
HUGHES: And what did she look like?
CRUMB: I went through that whole thing too; maybe I'll draw God as a black woman. But if you actually read the Old Testament he's just an old, cranky Jewish patriarch. It's a lot of fun doing Genesis, actually. It's very visual. It's lurid. Full of all kinds of crazy, weird things that will really surprise people.
